Your body stores trauma when:

  • You experience stress without the ability to process it

  • You disconnect from your needs to cope

  • You override your boundaries for too long

  • You freeze or shut down instead of expressing

  • You stay in survival mode far longer than you realise

This unresolved survival energy can turn into tension, tightness, shallow breathing, emotional numbness, fatigue or hypervigilance.

This is trauma physiology, not weakness.
