This retreat isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level relaxation.
It’s a powerful container designed to help you unravel old patterns, meet yourself more deeply, and step into lasting change.

Nestled on 26 acres overlooking the breathtaking Brokenback Mountain range, The Reset Retreat offers the space and stillness to unwind, release, and reconnect with your body.

Dr. Katelyn Boucher and Mitchell Masarik will guide you through somatic and energetic practices that rewire the nervous system, anchor you in your body, and dissolve what no longer serves — creating space for clarity, resilience, and renewal.

Over these 3 days and 2 nights, you’ll unravel the tension you’ve been carrying, slow down your system, soften into your body, and remember who you are beneath the noise.

Spinal Energetics & Bodywork
Release stored tension, stress and trauma from your body and nervous system through hands-on and energetic sessions.

Somatic Breathwork
Unlock the body’s inner wisdom, unwind protective patterns and release emotions to create more ease and peace within.

Emotional & Trauma Processing Techniques
Experience body -based ways to sit with, move through, and integrate emotions —instead of staying stuck in cycles of suppression, overthinking or overwhelm.

Embodied Movement Practices
Explore movement and grounding techniques that reconnect you with your body and bring awareness into everyday life.

Guided Nervous System Explorations
Supportive sessions to explore your body, emotions, and nervous system at a depth you can take with you beyond the weekend.

We intentionally don’t share every detail of the retreat. Part of the experience lies in arriving open — allowing what unfolds to meet you in ways you can’t plan for.


Why this works when other approaches haven’t

Most approaches focus on changing your thoughts or behaviours.

And while that can help, it often doesn’t reach the part of you that’s actually driving the pattern.

Because many of the responses you’re experiencing such as tension, overwhelm, emotional loops or shutdown, aren’t conscious choices.

They’re nervous system patterns your body has learned over time.

This work doesn’t ask you to think your way out of that.

It gives your body the space, support, and safety to:

  • Unwind stored stress and protective patterns

  • Process what hasn’t been fully felt

  • Shift out of survival responses into a more regulated and sustainable state

So instead of just coping better,
you start to viscerally shift from within and feel a level of internal ease you may not have experienced in a long time (or perhaps ever).

    This retreat may not be for you if…

    • You’re looking for a purely relaxing, spa-style escape.

    • You’re not open to feeling or processing emotions in the body.

    • You’re wanting surface-level change.

    • You’re not ready to be gently challenged or meet yourself more deeply.

  • This is a fully catered, stay-in retreat.

    Includes:

    • All facilitation, group sessions, and workbook materials.

    • All private chef prepared meals and refreshments.

    • Two nights’ accommodation in a peaceful natural setting (private estate).

    • Access to pool, sauna, hot tub and other facilities.

    (Travel to the venue not included).

    Please note the closest Airport is Newcastle Airport, approximately 1hr 15 mins away from the venue location.

    Sydney is approximately 2 hours away.

  • Most rooms are twin-share, with 4–6 guests per cabin. Each guest will have their own individual bed (no bed sharing).

    Each cottage is fully self-contained, with a kitchen, bathroom, dining and lounge area, plus a private BBQ and fire pit — the perfect spot to relax and connect with nature.

    We also offer luxury glamping tents, most set up for twin-share, for a more outdoorsy experience.

    When you apply, you can let us know whether you’d prefer a cabin or glamping tent, and if you’d like to be placed with a friend or family member.

    We’ll match you thoughtfully with a roommate if travelling solo.

  • Our private chef can accomodate various dietary requirements. Participants can inform us in advance about their specific needs, including allergies or restrictions and our chef will ensure that melas are tailored to meet those requirements.

    You will be able to inform us of any dietary requirements via your application form.

  • Please note this retreat is not suitable if you experience the following:

    • Severe mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis)

    • Currently taking high doses of antipsychotics/ psychiatric medications.

    • Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries

    • Epilepsy or seizures

    • History or diagnosis of aneurysms

    • Heart conditions

    • Severe asthma

    • Hospitalisation for any psychiatric conditions or emotional crisis within the past 10 years

    • Pregnancy

    • Retinal Detachment

    • Any other medical, psychiatric or physical condition that would impair or affect your ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release

  • If you are flying from interstate, the closest airport is Newcastle airport. The venue is approximately 1hour 15 minutes from Newcastle Airport.

    Alternatively, if you are flying into Sydney airport the venue is approx 2hr 30 minutes away.

    — Glamp Tent: $2300

    Retreat Payment and Booking Terms
    At application: $200 holding deposit paid when applying.

    • If your application is not accepted, the deposit will be refunded in full.

    • If your application is accepted, this deposit will be deducted from the total retreat cost.

    • If accepted and you choose not to proceed, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

    If approved, an additional deposit payment of $550 is invoiced after acceptance and payment is required within 7 days of approval to secure your place.

    The total deposit ($200 holding deposit plus $550 acceptance deposit) is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any/ all circumstances upon application acceptance — including, but not limited to, change of mind, scheduling conflicts, illness, or personal emergencies.

    Final payment is due by the 24th of July 2026.

  • All cancellation or change requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@charlestownchiropractic.com.au

    • Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to the retreat start date are eligible for a refund of any monies paid excluding the non-refundable deposit, provided your place can be filled by another approved participant.

    • Cancellations made within 45 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable, and all monies paid will be forfeited.

Dr. Katelyn Boucher (Chiropractor & Spinal Energetics Practitioner) and Mitchell Masarik (Life Coach & Breathwork Facilitator) will guide you through modalities that support nervous system healing, embodiment, and lasting change.

Together, they weave a space where nervous system healing and somatic bodywork merge, creating profound pathways for release, reconnection, and renewal.

This retreat is by application only, to ensure the space is the right fit for your current stage of healing and growth.

Before applying, please read the Health Contraindications (Suitability) Requirements above.

  1. Submit your application.

  2. A $200 holding deposit is required at the time of application.
    If your application is not accepted, the deposit will be refunded in full.

  3. Once we've reviewed your application, you'll hear from us within 48 hours.

  4. If approved, an additional deposit payment of $550 is invoiced after acceptance and payment is required within 7 days of approval to secure your place.
